It's always the same vibe- Sunday Mornings- Easy. Peaceful. Fresh. So I'll call this one "Easy Like Sunday Morning" #seascape #pinksky #inspiration #heavens #Universe #Creator #Source #Oneness #Meditation#Love #Light #Consciousness #528hz #LoveFrequency #HigherSelf #Lightworker #Vibration #Peace#SelfLove #Solitude #art #nola #artdemo #painting #paintingdemo #morningmeditation #myeshapaints.
Unlike most of the morning paintings I do- this one took a couple of days to come together- so I just decided to let it have its way and flow. In the end, there are a couple of things I would have done differently like adding more light magenta on the upper left side. But ultimately as my views of life evolve, I find myself more and more paralleling life with my art techniques. In the case of this painting- I let it flow and then let it rip at the end with the splatters. Some parts were slow, most of it was exciting and now here I am at the end thrilled by the result and the experience. *** 🙌🏽🙌🏽😁😁💃🏽🎉👌🏽👊🏽🎆💜💜✨💜 #firstandlastlight#mountains #mountainpainting#skyscape #Universe #Creator #Source#Oneness #Meditation #Love #Light#Consciousness #528hz#LoveFrequency #PinealGland#HigherSelf #KnowledgeofSelf#Lightworker #Vibration #Peace#SelfLove #Solitude #art #nola #artdemo#painting #paintingdemo#morningmeditation
Although I still haven't quite decided on a name for this painting, it reminds me of one of my favorite - quotes "Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars." Check out my blog post as I share thoughts on how this piece developed.
Thought I would amuse myself this morning and just see what happens. Sometimes I have a color scheme, an idea, a mood. This morning- I had nothing. - but oooh when that #SoulPower kicks in 🙌🏽 #artlife#morningmeditation
"The Deep Dark Night Turns Into Day" #morning #meditation#art Created this little painting this morning after a loooong almost sleepless night 😩 But it gave me so much life and energy that I'm still ready to take on the day! I know you can't tell from the pic but the black paint in the left is thick and chunky symbolizing the heaviness of our darkest seasons. The yellowish color on the right (Indian Yellow- one of my faves) is a semi-transparent color that represents day and the fluidity of change. the white circles - though they were spontaneous gestures I liken them to angels "coming through" What speaks to me most when I sat back and looked at this piece is the constant duality of darkness and light. ---- That is my "interpretation" but definitely you might see or feel something different and that is wonderful too!
Woke up feeling all Chrismasy and stuff! Christmas Day is one my MOST most favorite days of the year. Actually, I enjoy the entire hoiday season. I just love all of the Christmas music, parties and just overall good vibes that permeates the air. Love it! I was lucky enough (and by lucky I mean - two healthy, rambunctious, adorable little boys) to have my nephews (did I mention adorable) stay over at my house this week, so I'd initially decided that I would not paint since I had to rearrange my studio space a bit to welcome them. But I'd been seeing a big, Christmas tree set agains a beautiful NOLA Skyline in my mind's eye for days. I was so inspired when I woke up on Christmas morning and saw them that I decided that this vision (or some version of it) had to come out of my mind today. #Enjoy! Merry Christmas New Orleans - wishing you peace, happiness and most of all real joy!!!
Still not sure how I feel about this one. I was so inspired by the last one (Melancholy) that I wanted to continue on in the (kind of sort of) same color palette. I used Quinicridone Violet but it just does not have the vibrancy of the mixture that I made before using India Blue and Magenta. Nevertheless, I can appreciate th way the color adds a depth of deepness or darkeness which i am learning is simply a part of life. These paintings for me are always in the moment- never giving too too much thought to what is happening but rather letting it flow. And so came the circle of gold mica flakes. I felt it was a great contrast against the purple. This piece, I wanted to call "In Spirit and Truth" but settled on one simple word "True." ...Because in the sentiments of my inner rapper I can truly say that - I aint new to this- I'm true to this! LOL - Have a great day!
Literally dreamed about this painting or the colors rather. I kept seeing this beautiful beautiful purple in my mind's eye with a really bright pink and naturally for me the teal color flowed into it. I created this purplish color with Indian Blue and Magenta and I let the modeling paste be the tint to lighten it up. As I rewatched this video I saw several stages where I thought "wow" the colors are so beautiful I could have stopped there." I''m already working on others with the same color palatte. I have a feeling this may be a long series. Maybe...I get bored so quick LOL
For fun, for growth, for life... I've been recording and sharing my morning practice of painting in the early mornings as a meditation and sharing them with you.
This page is dedicated to sharing my process of creating art during those early morning moments when I work.
