What started out last night as prep turned into an impromptu soul session that I now call "ButterFly" i couldn't help myself and painted the whole darn thing. So instead of #mornjng #meditation, I guess I will call this one #midnight #magic --- "It occurred to me this morning that something like butterflies, our wings of transformation are formed in a dark cocoon and then birthed through an already purposed struggle- to be set free and never the same again." 😯 Having never gone through the process before... I wonder what a caterpillar thinks is happening to it as it is lead to cocoon itself in the shell.... Hmmm 😣😃
#Morning #Meditation - lost the entire first half of footage 😩 - but still wanted to share. No title yet - this one is still working on me. ... I have a feeling I'll be back to this piece.
I've been doing a lot of inner work lately- in this sort of space of just allowing myself to listen/ see/ feel more signs. Needless to say my angels have showed up so much! Repeating numbers, unexpected roadblocks (diverting danger) - all kinds of things!!! This painting has been with me for days. I sit, look at it- it speaks. I paint a little - it speaks. I leave it as I go about my day and it still speaks. I'm not sure how much I like it, but the message over the past couple of days is oh so clear - Do Not Be Afraid Guh! Flow!!! #Super Grateful for this message in this season!!!! :) ;) :)
This painting was inspired by a quote/ little snippet from a song that I love by Leonard Cohen
"Ring the bells that still can ring
Forget your perfect offering
There is a crack, a crack in everything
That's how the light gets in."
Coming out of a very hard season, i am reminded that cracks allow light to seep through!!! :)
For fun, for growth, for life... I've been recording and sharing my morning practice of painting in the early mornings as a meditation and sharing them with you.
This page is dedicated to sharing my process of creating art during those early morning moments when I work.
